I wish I had time to do more of this. I'm not sure why - maybe to entertain myself at some point in the future by reviewing my past.
Anyhow, our third little angel was born on 10/22/06, and she IS an angel. She's probably the quietest of the 3 so far (though Logan was pretty relaxed too). Anyhow, I love 'em all more than words can capture.
We also reunited with Luke last weekend. It had been almost 20 years since I'd last known him - and he was only about 5 at that time. He's turned out to be a very friendly, well adjusted, and very successful young man. At the age of 24, he's probably seen and done more than I have. Besides managing multiple cellular sales stores in NC, he has also been heavily involved in prison ministry - the Real stuff - maximum security without escort or any real protection. He has also preached in Germany and in the Phillipines - pretty exciting stuff!
RiverCity Studios will be kicking off Saturday. I'll miss some Ohio State and Massillon playoff football - as rough as that feels, I know that RCS is an investment in the eternities of myself and the kids and families that participate so it's really a no-brainer.
I'm excited that Wess Stafford is coming to RiverTree. I'm excited about the possibilities to have dramatic impact on people globally and on building God's Kingdom. Wess' organization is the only one of it's type that I'm aware of that is doing what they do right. I've already learned from him in his book, but I look foward to learning more from him when he visits.
I hope RiverTree will turn into a church that shares his belief that long term world change and Kingdom building starts and is most significantly influenced by serious investment in children!
